Masonry Clinic – Sandstone Cleaner

Our Sandstone Cleaner is water based and, while it is a degreaser and will certainly work on residual stains, it will not work as effectively on major spills as MASONRY CLINIC’s Oil, Grease & Tar Remover.

Certainly or Sandstone Cleaner will remove such contaminants, but for the most powerful anti-bacterial and long term treatment of hard surfaces we suggest MASONRY CLINIC’s Patio, Path & Wall Fungicide. It works like magic!

Much depends on the degree of soiling but, as a yard of thumb estimate, a litre will clean around 9 square metres (or 97 square feet).

Dirt of all kinds can be cleaned with Sandstone Cleaner including everyday dirt and grime, residual oil, and all kinds of food and animal stains.

Our product has been specifically formulated for sandstone walls, flooring and paving whether in slabs, setts or blocks – in rougher “rubble” or smoother ”ashlar”.

With an unbeatably effective bio-degradable formula our Sandstone Cleaner is safe, non-toxic, plant and animal friendly and, unlike others, is so safe it can be sprayed.

Because different types of stone vary in their surface properties, particularly between sandstone and limestone, and are less consistent and more readily damaged than some man-made materials such as brick.

It certainly is – with a simple brush or with a pressure washer. After wetting the surface thoroughly the Sandstone Cleaner is applied generously with a brush, and washed off with cold water. Full directions are on the package.
